Papers of Distinction reserves the right to update their pricing at any time without notice. Please note GST is an Australian tax and is not applicable to international orders.
Payment & Ordering
Full payment is required before work can commence on your job.
Papers of Distinction website has the highest security possible so you can be assured that your personal details are treated with the utmost security and privacy.
Secure Credit Card Payment and Paypal
Payment can be made via Master Card or Visa.
We also offer Paypal which accepts American Express, Visa, Master Card and direct bank payments.
Payment via Direct Bank Deposit
If you prefer, payment can be made by direct bank deposit.
Payment will need to be cleared before work commences on your order. Please note, banks often take a few days to notify us of any payment received by them. If you could email us the transfer receipt this will enable us to commence your proofs.
Sending of Proofs
A PDF proof will be emailed to you for approval before printing. Once you have checked and approved your proof, please email your approval to firstname.lastname@example.org
When we receive your approval, your order will go to print.
Please allow at least 10-14 days from approval of your proof to delivery.
We will notify you via email the day of despatch.
Be aware that there may be a slight variance in colour to the proof and your final print run.
CHECK VERY CAREFULLY
The PDF proof is sent to you to check the content.
We allow for one set of text amendments at proof stage without charge.
It is the client’s responsibility to check that all copy is correct.
Please be aware that if you signed off a proof as approved, and it has an error that you have overlooked (an error supplied in your wording or a typo made by ourselves) the reprint is fully at the client’s expense.
If you have selected the personalisation option we will email to you the Excel format that we will require guest names/addresses to be in.
All names need to be typed exactly as you would like them to be spaced, spelt and written. For example, Mr & Mrs Brown, Claire and Anthony Brown, Claire & Anthony.
It is important that you ensure all spelling, punctuation and spacing is correct as your list will be printed exactly as supplied.
Any errors supplied by clients on their lists will be reprinted at the client’s expense.
Our standard pricing includes the placement of your wording into your chosen layout, plus a single set of alterations/corrections at the first PDF proof stage. Additional amendments will be charged.
Once the proofs are approved by you, your order will go directly to print.
Alterations may not be undertaken once you have sent your approval.
Envelopes are included with all invitations, RSVP Cards, Thank You cards and Save the Date cards.
Printing of envelopes is directly to the envelope. We do not use sticky labels as they are most unattractive and can very much spoil the look of the finished product.
You will note that there are minimum quantities applicable to most of the stationery items.
For example, the minimum for invitations is 40 and can only be ordered in lots of 5. That is, 40,45,50,55,60,65 etc
Refunds and cancellations
Once your order has been confirmed with the receipt of your payment we cannot accept deductions to your order.
This is because the stock required is immediately removed from our warehouse and cut to suit your particular order. You may increase your order before we go to print (usual costs will apply).
Stationery cannot be refunded or returned.
It is the nature of the printing process that slight colour variations can occur throughout the print.
There are always slightly variations in the printing result such as the thickness of the font when printed and the depth of colour, depending on the atmospheric conditions when the printing takes place.
Note that all of our cards and paper are a slightly textured and felt stock, made from the highest quality, cotton-based, imported European stock.
We highly recommend the purchase of a sample pack prior to ordering. As explained above, there may be a slight variation in colour and the thickness of the printed font between your sample pack products and your finished order.
Orders for Samples:
Samples within Australia are sent freight free.
Orders for invitations and general stationery:
All orders within Australia are sent via Express Post with a tracking number. The cost is $35.00 per order that has a value of $100.00 or more, and $20.00 per order for orders of a value less than $100.00.
Orders for Samples:
Samples sent outside of Australia have a flat freight rate of
$25.00 AUD per order.
Orders for invitations and general stationery:
Freight charge for all international orders is a flat rate of $70.00 AUD per order.
We use Express Air Post and Express Courier international.
These are fast delivery methods and can be fully tracked.
You will be responsible for any duties/taxes applicable in your own country upon arrival of your order, so please check if these apply to you prior to ordering.
Delivery for orders is between 10 to 14 working days from start to finish. Allow extra delivery time for international orders.
Papers of Distinction does not close during holiday periods and thus will always respond to you within 48 hours. Keep in mind, events such as public holidays, Easter and Christmas can cause delays so get your orders in well before these times of the year.
Delivery times quoted on our site are approximate and depend on the speed in which you supply information to us and approve your proofs.
Our designs are exclusive to Papers of Distinction and will usually include a printed subtle logo on the back of the piece of stationery.
